Hooked up with Yager at the Dairy Hut campground in Evarts, KY Friday evening for the KYMC/4x4Grace workday. We joined a large group (@ 25 workers) of brothers to work on a new section of Grace Trail at Harlan. Not sure exactly what TiredIronGRB is calling it but I like Grace Rocks! We had several chainsaws on hand as well as the loan of a 'Dozer from Harlan County road maintainence and cleared a new section off of the Grace Trail - Trail 33 junction up over some nice rock outcroppings tying back into the trail. Some excellent additions to an already superb and growing 4x4 venue!

is that the junction of 33 near mason jar or 33/25 just wondering because i'm sure we will hit that when we are up there in a month

I could be wrong but I think it was B/W 33 and 25 right at the grace trail. Pretty good stuff many different line from mild to wild.

Fun time but camping up on the mountain was reallll windy sat night. We helped Frank cut some new trail on saturday and rode it again later that night. They should call it Carb Hill since Dustin's carbed Cruzah went up it first. Heard someone POUNDING on it about 4am sat night right above our camping spot after we came in. I have never been more impressed with a carb when it was almost on its side and still powered out of a flop. How the hell that thing runs is beyond me.

Were is the trail that you all cut in at. Is it the one coming down the main hill on the left right before you get to the exit of lower damnation.

I think it is off of trail 23.. right below coyote campground.. as soon as you get on trail 23 turn right.. I walked this trail a few years ago. Man their is rocks all over the place in that area.. The trail comes out just past middle rock garden.

OR

It could be just past lower rock garden on the right. That is the section leading into profanity.. mean looking

That is the one I was talking about, it looks like it goes straight up sorta like Pony Hill.

Our group ran that. Very nice. The trail goes up pretty good and you better be ready for the exit. The exit goes right into the main road and goes straight across on up. Harlan is coming out with some great new trails. I challange anyone to ride everything there and stay together.

Harlan/Evarts is at the top of our list of places to ride. Everyone calls the trails something different. I would like to check out the new trails. I think I know where they are. We will be going up in a few weeks. This pic. is from our Christmas trip. This is at the end of the Lions Den.
