Im smitten right now and want the good people's input for what works best in the mountains of NC(flats) and SC(gulches).

Whose wearing 'um and what's your pros and cons?

Thanks:beer:

KM2's, without a doubt Tilley. Couldn't happier with mine. I've run more different tires than most people and my KM2's are at the top of my list.

I think Tilley (OP) meant KM2's. Unless his financial planning has equated into his aquisition of Krawlers via a racer program.

(that's me using big words) Lol

Kevlars are pretty sweet. A buddy of mine has run 39" sticky krawlers and 42" kevlars, and likes the kevlars better. Although, another friend of mine has 37" krawlers and gets wet just thinking about how well they work. So it probably comes down to vehicle weight and personal preference.

If I bought a set, it would be Kevlars. Just my .$02

x2...esp the part about the 37's. Adam is gonna cry the first time he cuts a sidewall.

I run krawlers in the 39" variation on my 4dr JK and really like them. They suck a little on the road when they are cold but once they warm up they are good. I've run them in 37's on my TJ and loved them then too.

I haven't run the MTR-K's but I have wheeled with them and I think the Krawler's perform a little better in my opinion. But that is subjective to vehicle and driver.

HTH

I have kralwers and mtrs 42 2 sets. I'd pick mtr over kralwers they go just as well in my opion and I loved the krl till I got the mtrs. They are a better tire by far!

Let's go try my MTRs out next weekend...

Ive driven on both the krawlers and the mtrs........i would take my creepy crawlers over both of them any day.

The kevlars flex really good right out of the "box" I run 6 lbs in mine and they flexed fine the first time out they are also a lot liighter than other tires

I love my kevlars!! Great tire that's for sure!
