My son was over at Thanksgiving and I was burning stuff in my old 55 gallon drum burn barrel and I didnt have enough holes in it for air so we messed with it some and got it going better. Well he was here on Saturday and gave me a new burn barrel highly modified! He welded in handles, angled 2'x4" air holes to create a vortex air delivery, and feet on it so it has air from the bottom too.

I can't get the videos of the fire moving in circles to load so this is it for the moment. I'll keep trying.

Here is mine, but yours looks alot better.

Cut the top third off, flipped it upside down, and cut the end into a "grate". Then put it back together with air holes in the sides.
