King Fishing

Went to Florida last month and did some king fishing here are some pics.

Remember, you can king fish in NC too. No need to go all the way to FL

I know but we went to Orlando for a 4 day batchelor party and decided to fish while we were there.

Sad part is a lot of Hatteras is already shut down for the birdies. You have to walk about one mile to get to the point and have to stay in the water.

King is some good eatin, my neighbor goes a lot and brings it back then we fry it up in the frying pan. A lot better than the pond fish we catch around here.

We grilled it last time with some lemon on it and pepper and was great

Nope. Didn't take my brothers boat out and on the pier all we caught was 3-4 inch long croakers and whitings. My brother did get two 3ish pound blue fish when he threw his drum rode way off the shore. So not too good. Should have went fishing on the boat for drum til dark then flounder gig but we cut the top off his pathfinder instead lol.

Well as my luck goes I didn't make it down....... My dad ended up in the ER then in the hospital at Wake. I'll try again this weekend before I forget who to cast.
