OK, I searched and didn't see this so here we go...

Wow. I don't think it will fit on the ferry to Core Banks, so either Carolina Beach or OBX? Technically a tractor and trailer, I think one could say "oh no, that is a hydrostatically driven axle, coordinated (with the Tractor) long-throw hydro-pneumatic suspension and Central Tire Inflation system, and a 2-axis articulated fifth wheel"... and the guy at the gate would go "uh, this isn't the trailer we're looking for. move along..."!

Seen that! Not really in the same league but definitely would get across the sound. Not sure about out of the water on the other side, but cool still.

And let's be clear - I'm a broke redneck that happens to have a little smarts. No shoppin' here. Not enough smarts to keep me out of the poor house, but enough to appreciate cool engineering... ;-)

Yea. That guy is in FL and built a ship on wheels (ex Navy) and took it all over the EU. Really cool!
