Klingspor Abrasive

I use there modulure flapper disc setup and love it. They last longer and stay flater longer.

I can't say anything for their flap discs or cut off wheels, but I ordered a box of 12" adhesive back discs for my sander in a couple different grits from them. The guy gave me a pretty fair price so I can't complain but I was less than impressed.

Some of you guys may think I'm crazy but I use www.LehighValleyAbrasives.com for everything now. I know I know they're supposed to be cheap junk. If you order their "Jumbo" flap disc's you'll probably like them. I think they're like 2.40 ea. and they last as long as anything I've ever used. I've tried every compound that 3M makes and still don't see enough difference to justify paying 8.00 - 10.00 or more ea. I use my abrasives A LOT!

They also sell Metabo cut-off wheels which also work great and they're less than a dollar.

I have used klingspor for years, I will continue to use them when available.

I only use Norton paper. Klingspor paper is cheaper but I use 3x more. Do buy fein blades there though.

You guys should check out Farris Belt and Saw in Charlotte. Billy and his son are good people and keep a ton of stuff in stock. They carry Klingspore as well as a lot of other brands and can get just about any type of abrasive you want. Their prices are more than fair and they are a great company to deal with.

They ship all over. That is who we buy all our abrasives from at ECGS and I did a lot of development work with them when I was at Fab Fours......

Been using Klingspore since mid 90s and when I can find the stuff, I buy it. Plus, they are local to Hickory, so its nice to support local companies...

We use Kingspore (hickory location) exclusively for our abrasives, and have been for a very long time. No complaints from the shop
