KM2 or Goodyear mtr

I know people are going to ask so I will beat them to it. Whats the rig used for dd some off road only off road?

I will be putting on my MTRs this week. I have read great reviews on them.

I know for a fact, installing both of them at work, the MTR's are a bitch to balance, if that matters. Either way, I recommend internal balancing.

I like KM2's better, unless you want to shell out for the MTR Kevlars...

Aren't the new MTRs directional and sided?
If so, this could be something to consider if your alignment isn't ideal. E.g. you can only rotate 'em front-back and not side-side.

Yes they are.

And make carrying a spare a 50/50 chance the right side blew out...so to speak. I've seen both used and both have done great.

Find an old school set of mtrs? I've got the km2's and don't care for them much. Will be switching back to bfg all-terrains. In my experience a better tire on and offroad than the km2. They do look cool though.

I had a set of 32 x 11.50's on my wrangler & didn't care much for the mileage I got out of them. I've got KM2's on my cherokee now. Seems the offroad crowd seems to like the BFG's better & they seem to last longer.

If it's a daily drive, the all terrains may be a safer bet when it comes to rainy roads. I haven't had much problem in the rain so far, but I've got less than 100 miles on my KM2's. If my wife was to regularly drive mine I'd have gone with the all terrains.

ive gotten horrible miles out of my km2's. kinda my fault, ran them for several weeks completely out of alignment. but other than that i love them

So its time for so new rubber on the xj. So in yalls opinion what is the best? O it will be a 31/10.50/15.

if you wanna try the KM2s out my buddy as a set of 32s with 5000 miles on em he is sellin. if your interested PM me and ill get you a price

Thanks all. I guess it will just come down to the best $. I find them for. I am running the km2 now. But the xj had them on it when I got it. I love the Iroks that are on my tj. But you cant get them in a 31. I do 90% street driving. But its locked f/r so I want to keep a good mud/rock tire on it.

That's probably because they are Goodyears. I've never had a set that could hold a good balance. Friggin' square tires.
