Trying to figure this out so it is easier to sell this thing.
My dad has a 95 Voyager van. When you start it cold it makes a horrible knocking noise for a few seconds and then quiets down to the normal lifter tick. No noise at all after that unless you give it throttle. When you give it harder throttle it raps really bad, and it really sounds like it is coming from the topend of the engine.
It sounds a lot like a messed up rocker arm, which a friend said these are shaft rockers so if one is making noise like that it is probably needing a new cylinder head. It sounds like something is smacking the valve cover.
I took a video, but not sure if you can really tell much.
