First long weekend test of the leaf spring sliders on some hard core rock krawlin went good this past weekend. I seemed to be off my game with my driving skills but the sliders hooked up well. I'm still having trouble adjusting to the 2" lower rig and got hung up a few times; the nylon blocks in front are taking a beating, losing a few small chunks but at $4 a set are easily replaceable; didn't seem to have the jumping/bouncing common to leaf spring rigs that was one of the intital reasons for the slider mod. Over all I'm pleased with the mod at this point!

Where'd you get a stupid idea like that? (IIRC, Chip called it "snake oil"!)

As my front leafs/shackles inverted 5 minutes into Welder last month, you can bet it's back on my radar!

So, your's dropped the lift height 2"? I need to remeasure my front to rear heights, but hoping to drop my front-end down 1"-1.5", so I may need to add the difference into the sliders
