lake houser on saturday

I'm either heading up there on Saturday or Sunday to get a shakedown run in my new rig. Weather is gonna be NIIIICCEEE. 60F. I've never been there either.

More than likely will be on Sunday since I have stuff to do on Saturday afternoon.

Do a search for lake houser on here and you'll find the locals. Maybe we can get the grand tour. Whatcha bringin?

Ok, cool. There is another guy that might follow me up that is bringing a lifted JK on M/Ts' but it's stock otherwise. I'll be trailering my CJ5 in which is locked on 36TSL's. Not a big fan of mud so hopefully some of it will dry up by the weekend.

Where is this place, got an addy? I may tag along.

About 45 min away from Gastonia towards Shelby. From what I gather it is basically a bunch of powerline trails mixed with side trails that are legal to wheel on. The land is owned privately. Mostly dirt trails with some hill climbs, small mud holes, and a couple of rocks.

youtube lake houser 4x4 and you'll get an idea.

Cool, is there a time we need to meet up?

If jordan will get my top to me and I get the cj tagged i'll come.

I need to invest in a trailer. . .

I was gonna plan to get there around 1030 or so. Depends on how hungover I am. Lol.

I called him last weekend and he said he usually unlocks the gate around 9am.

it don't sound like wild and crazy place but at this point i don't care. just want to go somewhere and play a little.
Same here. Plus I've gotta shakedown the jeep and see what all needs mess'n with. First time outta the garage.

I'll be out there Sunday. I'm about 95% sure.

I live about half a mile from there, if anybody has room for a tag-a-long I would be happy to show yall around some. PM me if anyones interested.

I'm go'n out there on Sunday, not Saturday. Not sure about everyone else.

I may or may not be there on sunday, kinda up in the air on what I have to do that morning, that and I dont have anything to drive I will need to be catching a ride with somebody.

Seat's taken in my rig. Sorry. Any idea how muddy it is out there?

Any of the holes deep? I'm on 36TSL.

Also, is there a map available anywhere. I'll be toting along a Garmin GPS and I can upload all the trails once I get back to make you guys a map.

Ive been looking on my computer for the map, I helped the owner make one a couple years back before alot of people knew about the place. I will post it up on here if I can find it.
