So a few folks from this board and I would like to get together and possibly grill out, show off rigs, get to know eachother and kick back a few beers. If anyone is interested in doing this and know a good place and will be available this weekend then PM me and I will get everything setup. I was thinking we could go to McDowell Park or even someones house. Throw some ideas at me guys and give me some numbers and we can see what turns out. Or e-mail me j_hegarty@hotmail.com :beer:
 
There are several of us around Clover. I think we are getting together Saturday and going to the event at the farm. You are welcome to join us.
 
I am very interested! I have to go to A wedding on Saturday, but am free on Sunday. I have been thinking that we should start A club, York county, & surrounding area. A get together like this , would be perfect to discuss it. I posted this idea on, WCURoverd90's thread; slip yolk eliminator, in the newbie tech forum. I'm not looking to start A due's type thing, just A bunch of like minded people, who can have fun together. Pool our resources, compare notes etc.
 
I have a wedding to go to this Sunday. Mabey we should shoot for next weekend so people could get a little advanced notice. As for location, McDowell park closes at dark and there is no alcohol allowed. I have a perfect place here, right on the lake, backyard with a fire pit, and if yall wanted to bring the kids I have a little beach they could swim at. I have to work every Saturday but usually have nothing to do on Sundays. -Mike
 
Sounds good everyone, yeah i guess this weekend is a little short notice. Why dont the people who want to meet up give the best date and time and we can get a head count from there and gauge how many people are willing to attend. Im am good for anytime this month. I will send other folks i know to this thread as well. talk to yall later on.

This weekend or next is not good for me. Hopefully after that things will settle down and I can get a chance to meet up with some of you.
 
Sunday, june 22nd ?????

Three weekends from now enough notice? Hey y'all, we really should do this get together. Seems like many of us need more time to get through obligations, made prior to this idea. Sunday, June 22nd, should give most of us the chance to make it. Thanks to Kilby, & Mike for offering their land, for a meet-n-greet, private land, is always better than public places it seems.
 
3 or 4 of us are meeting at 9:00 AM in the morning to go to the rock farm event the Big Dixie Boggers are hosting. We will be meeting at the intersection of Ridge road and hwy 321 at 9:00 . anyone is welcome that wants to tag along.
 
Well, hate i missed out on this weekend yall I have to work. But i am good for the weekend of 6/12 or 14 if anyone wants to get together. I was thinking MicahelTSoulos place if thats good with him. Get a head count. We can go from there. There should be enough parking right Mike?
 
Shouldnt be unless a ton of people show up but well make do. If yall want to do it here everyone is more than welcome. The only thing is that I can absolutely not get out of work on a saturday, I am off on Sundays.
