Land Rover Off-Roading Lesson

I've seen this before too. It's hard to believe it'svery hard-core at all...

For less than $325... rent a jeep at Hertz and pay whatever the fee is for complete no-questions asked damage warranty (even if it's $100). Take it to URE or wherever, you get a whole day to do whatever you want and learn through your own bad experience.

I think that it would be awsome to take one back tore all to hell with busted axles.

"This, folks is what's called "dirt". This is the only time your vehicle will ever see it."

Doesn't cover off-road driving.

Oh you should be in Uwharrie when the Rover dealers have " Off-road Exepriance" days.

There is a caravan of Rovers of various models, and a delightful ole chap walking the trail before them pointing out "obstacels" and offering advise as to how best travers.

And then another fellow following behind helping those who are more "challenged"

Oh, and these chaps are former "Camel Trophy" particapants or champions or some such.

Rather amusing I dare say.....

lol. let me tell you something about landrovers! here's my "landrover experience" and all it cost me was some humiliation. i got pulled out of the snow by a chevy cavalier last weekend!

Landrovers are awesome...if you dont plan on leaving wolfden!!

sorry if i sound like im putting land rovers down...well, not really sorry. i jsut own one and know the truth. granted mine is a discoII with all the bells and whistles (but not the important ones like a locking transfer case!). I may have a different opinion if i owned a series.

Ha

There was a video floating around here of one of those Land Rover class thingies (might have been in NC actually). I could have driven my Civic through their course (not even kidding really).

My experience with land rovers is this. They are one of the best off roaders around.....If you can keep them running long enough.

I met one of the guys that offers driving instruction at the Biltmore Estate...I've been trying to get him to come wheel with us/let us check out the course. I'd like to know what the experience offers, but the price is too damn expensive.

i always have a hilarious time at uwharrie safari beating around whatever $500 domestic pos i happen to have at the time.
