Land Rover Wheel Specs

my dad has a land rover discovery II and he wants to get a seperate set of wheels and tires. Right now he has 29" tires on land rover 18" wheels. is the lug pattern 5 on 5.5? whats the smallest wheel size he can bolt on(without grinding calipers)? does 16" sound about the smallest he can go?

He can throw on 16s no problem. Withthe right backspacing 15s work too.

I run 33s on a set of 16s with no issue.
