I'm sure this doesn't need much explanation, but I have a laptop and I need a new battery

It's a Sony Viao, got it for free and usually only use it to run my HP Tuners/VCM Scanner software. So I figure it's worth putting a battery in to get a little time without a cord.

The number on the battery is VGP-BPS13B/Q. I've done some searching, but I'm not exactly up to date on good places to purchase such things from. I'd hate to get a pile of crap, but I'd also hate to severely over pay.

Any suggestions guys?

Ebay or Amazon. Get the cheap one. Most all replacements are built about the same these days. You can spend $75 on one if you want to, but it's probably not going to be any better than the $26 one Gub just posted. I guess the extra $50 makes some people feel better, though.

^yup. amazon.

Don't expect to get more than about 9mths-1 year out of a replacement battery, either.

x4.
Hell buy 2 if it makes you feel better and you still come out ahead.

I honestly thought about buying two just for that reason.
