Lawn and Landscape

That is a better fall fert. Double check the application rate. In that analysis that amount should cover 10-12K square feet per bag so you potentially have enough for 120K sq ft 3-3.5 acres. My second app that I'm doing shortly will be 11-0-7 FTR. Also in the future, I would go to a lesser P/phosphorous (middle number) so you don't get a build up that takes forever to come back down. There is an 18-12-12 available as a fall/seeding fert.
So would you just wait till fall to put it out?
I buy at our local farm supply (Nutrian Ag) I told them I needed fertilizer for the yard and that is what they sold me. I know nothing about it.

How do y'all manage drought and pollen dust when you cut? I ain't got no lush, moist yard like some of yall, so I always end up covered in dust when I'm done, but last week was like 3x worse than I've ever seen it. And the wind was fairly low, so I couldn't wait for my dustcloud to move away before passing back over. I always drive down my gravel drive with the deck on to blow the leaves off, and it looked like a daggum forest fire in the woods when I got to the other end.

Busch Light in the cup holder.

Mine was so bad I wore a mask for first time. Still got a sinus infection.

Back when I use to mow my lawn, I would wear a 3M mask when it was bad. I wear the mask when I need to blow too.

haha.

asks: 'how do I keep the dust down during a drought?'

don't cut the dust!

helping, right?
Actually I asked "how do you manage the dust when you cut", not "how can I not cut" ;) Obviously not cutting would prevent the stirring of dust, but when my weeds are 8-12" high, I'd like to knock them down every couple of weeks. Normally its just nuisance dust, but I have never seen so much pollen and so much dust in my 30+ years of cutting dust and weeds. Even with glasses on, I had to rinse my eyes out with the kitchen sprayer after cutting this past weekend.

Put a sprayer on the front of your mower, fill it back up every 15 feet.:D

Sorry, I answered before work and then had beers after so just now getting back to it. If this is the only chance your yard will get fert this year then put out 8 bags and plan/hope for rain. Its a hot mix for right now. It may rain and it'll be good. If it doesn't, you only put out the correct rate and it'll be fine. Find a different supplier, they don't sound great, just selling you leftover stock from the fall. Tractor Supply, Agri Supply, and Rural...whatever usually does pretty well with this stuff
