I’m traveling and found a store with the bourbon, rum and rye whiskey. They have more. I’m willing to help facilitate some “gifts” if anyone is interested and been wanting to try their stuff. I’ll be back in Asheville on Monday

FYI...not sure what your retail price is, but LS bourbon typically pulls $45/bottle in the secondary market...$55/bottle for the Thin Blue Line edition

What’s your point?

That if retail price is regulated and therefore is cheap, you could pick up a few extra bottles to sell and stand to make a few bucks if you choose. If you’re not in a regulated area and the store is asking more than market, don’t waste your time. Not all liquor store prices are created equally.

Edit...example, My County has Pappy in stock right now. NC has retail regulated prices. $99 for a bottle of 15 year. Same bottle in a Kentucky retail setting is $1300ish. Secondary market is $1000-1800.

The bottles are not in all stores and they can be difficult to get ahold of. Local stores won’t always order for you as they may not have the demand to order cases. The ones who do order single bottles for you it’s a big markup in prices from what I’ve seen

I was simply offering if anyone wanted “help” with acquiring a few I’m willing to lend a hand.

I gotcha. Like I said, that’s the price for those that don’t know where to look. Do with that as you will. If you’re doing it out of the goodness of your heart, great...if you can make a few bucks, even better...if you’re overpaying, that’s what expendable income is for.

Cool. Thanks. Appreciate the price relay. I’ve watched them for quite sometime waiting to find a site that carried it. Finally got some. They were out of the Napalm tho :(
