Leaf over axle swap help

Mid way through one and damn if i thought i wouldnt have to drop the axle or undo ujoint lol so i dropped the leafs and realizes the mounts stayed on the bottom of the axle.
Sooo what are the proper procedures to finish the swap? (please dont say weld lol)

Just cut the old ones off and re use them.

if welding is not an option, the next best thing will be super glue. You are gonna have to use the "W" word in order to complete said swap.
