I have a 97 xj and I bought it with a 4.5 inch lift. the rear is an add a leaf with lift blocks and they are shot. I wanna redo the whole leaf pack. what would you recommend for my set up?

I recommend a good full replacement spring from a quality manufacturer. That said, for jeeps I love rubicon express springs. Good springs with a good warranty for a great price. I would get a set of the RE1462 springs from your choice of vendor.

I have these on my XJ and it rides like a covered wagon. I don't expect a plush caddy, but this is my 3rd XJ, 1st RE lift and I'm not happy with it. Been thinking when URE opens back up maybe I need to jump it a few times.

Im convinced the harsh ride in an xj is related to the shackle angle. New springs will also effect that. I've got a set of the 3.5" lift springs and they ride great, but I have a shackle relocation kit. I believe that is the answer for alot of xj problems. Another answer is timmys sliders. Those things are awesome.
