Leather belts

Am I the only one that read the title and had a cold shiver go down their spine from flashing back to some of the whoopings you got when 'your father got home'.

For the record...same thing happens about my mom when someone talks about wooden spoons.

Resurrecting this thread. I need a new leather belt. The full leather American eagle belt I've been wearing for 15yrs finally broke. Guess inflation got it....

I need a good leather belt that doesn't have a chinesium buckle. I'm allergic to something in cheap metal and where my inflated midsection touches the buckle when I sit I break out.

I see the ads for Hank's belts but dang they seem pricey. What are you puds wearing these days?

As my weight has changed I have had 4 grey eagle leather belts.
The oldest one is probably 10 years old and my son wears it now, daily. Still looks like new. Real quality leather. hit it with some saddle soap once or twice in a decade.

Wife found them on etsy.
Ive got one that isthe herman oak harness model which is thick and beefy and another that is buffalo hide that is dressier and thinner.

Just ordered one from them. Id rather do business with a small business anyway. If my pants be falling down, I'm blaming you

So, what belt did you buy? lol
well, I know very well why I started this, just don't remember doing it. :D

My Uncle makes knives and also does Leather work. I asked him to make me a belt but to add a little feature to it. I was thinking about marketing it, but never got around to it. Can anyone guess what the feature (extra flap of leather) is for?
