Anyone know where i can get some thick leather in Winston Salem?
I'm looking for black saddle leather, around 12" square, but I'll take whatever i can get as long as it's heavy (thick).

Can you name an upholstery shop in WS that sells leather?

go to your local welding supply & buy a welding apron.
 
You might have to go down to Ramseur to get what you need.There is an actual leather supply store down town.
