LED Headlights

A while back truck-lite released a 24 volt LED headlight for the military. Now they have came out with a DOT approved 12 volt version. Price is still high but so where LED tail and turn lights when they first came out. I wonder how the light output will compare to an HID light?

thats awesome, you could about run them off of a drill battery with such low amperage draw. Not that you would want to but its cool.

Many of the desert racers are switching from HID's to LED's now, so I'd say they're pretty good competition. Except for price.
