I am sure this is a subject that has been discussed before but here i go, I installed a set of LED break lights in my 04 unlimited after blown fuses and installing an LED flasher and a week of pulling my hair out I have gotten the markers, brake lights, and the directional to work but if I turn the 4-way flashes on it blows the (MFSW) fuse under the hood, change the fuse everything works but the 4-ways. can anybody shed some light on my problem.

Like add that everything worked fine before I put the lights in.

I found that in my 06 the flashers from local auto parts stores that say "led" on them still burnt out. I tried this mod to the factory flasher and it's been working for about a year just fine.

Thanks, I was also told that I can't use an EP-27 relay because it won't run the 4-ways without blowing fuses I need to use an EP-26. I am going to try that first before doing that mod to my relay.

This was from a Jeep forum I am on,
"You cannot use hazards with an EP-27 or it will blow things. Get an EP-26 instead. Works perfectly. The only thing it changes is your turn signals will work with no key. I kinda like that feature."
and It seems to have done the trick, I am still going to do this mod.
Just to bring the flash rate of my directional down.

I have the opposite problem of you. A wire arc'd the other day when I was messing around and my turn signals quit. I only have hazards now. Bought a new electronic flasher and that is not the problem. I don't really know what the hell happened. I checked all the fuses.
