I talked to Janet Becker (Arrowhead Campground Host and strong advocate of the 4x4 crowd at URE) about her hot rod golf cart. The Zuke guys finally got tire spacers on and the lift complete so she can cruise around in lifted style now. 
Thanks to the guys who did the install and took care of the particulars.
Back at the beginning of the Golf Cart for Janet saga. There were several people that pledged money towards the original purchase of the cart. Then someone posted up that a cart had been donated...so Janet was never sent any money for the purchase. As it turns out... the cart was not donated. Janet was given a very good deal on the 3 year old, low hours cart, but it still cost her ~$1000 to purchase it. Though the Forest Service is paying for the "fuel" (they are not giving her any grief about plugging it in at her site), and they made it "legal" in the campground by putting FS stickers on it, Janet is still out of pocket the original $1000.00. As many of you know, Janet does not make much as the ACG Campground host. So purchasing a $1000.00 vehicle to do her job in, is a hardship. Janet is a strong proponent of the 4x4 community, and treats us all very well, whether we are staying at ACG or over at Badin Lake (not her responsibility). She has championed the cause of the 4x4 community and may well be one of the reasons we still have trails available to us at URE. For this, I think it would be a good idea if we could help her the way we help other Wheelin' friends.
So now that everyone knows that the Cart was not donated, let's all do what we can to help Janet out. Her paypal account is: becker92@earthlink.net or next time you are at URE stop by, say hello and slip her some cash. Every bit helps. If 100 of us gave $10.00 the cart would be paid for.
