Just pulled mine out of the garage for the first time in nearly 6 years to move it up to the shop to get it finished. I'm hoping to get it finished this winter so I can get out and enjoy it the way Jeeps were originally meant to be enjoyed. My JK has spoiled me.
Thank you. I like unique jeeps and that was my goal. I'm going to be doing some work on it here before long and I'm going to do a build thread so stay tuned.
"Lil-Red" (1978) - we've been together for 30 years... photo taken at Uwharrie Group Camp in 1996.
The Jeep still looks about the same... as for me, my hair is a whole lot thinner and the beard is now white.
I just picked this one up today. Still haven't unloaded it off the trailer, gotta make some room in the garage. 72 CJ5, 304, 3spd. Seems to be in pretty decent shape
So I finally gave in to the plasti dipping trend. I had a few spots on my hood where the paint was flaking and chipping off and I wanted a cheap and easy fix for it. It turned out looking better than I thought
Seems that I take every body else pics, They take some of me, but we don't exchange. Many of my pics aren't loaded, either. I've had my 79 CJ Golden Eagle, for over 27 years.
About 70% of the paint, is he original. Jeep called it "Rustic". I like It!
