Lets See Your Shop

Side view. You can see where me and a buddy stripped the wood maggots from the bottom a couple weeks ago. Left it open where they made it to the top. 36 years ago there wasn't a such thing as treated lumber. Pretty sure I got em all. The fan hole is where the water came from. Got to make some louvers for it. And I've got 3 more sides to go...

That's not actually my truck. It's my buddy Keith's and he sold it in Mississippi or something also so you probably won't see it around!

That ladder rack got USED! We hauled so much stuff for the garage on it and moving stuff, etc. Worth the money he paid for it for sure.

Here is my Home away from home. 5 women in the house and 2 female labs, well....

Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

I've got nothing like most of you guys as far as a shop, but here is where I do some of my work (behind the house)

Its a 24x24 garage, 2 story but the whole upstairs will be finished like the house with bathroom and all. Maybe one day i'll finish the siding and start on the upstairs...

New steel 4'x8' welding table.

Took down all the wood paneling on the walls and put up some OSB then built a cutting table/tube rack. Anyone used the Evolution Rage 3 saw? This thing is badass, it's a compound miter saw with a metal blade, definitely far superior to my old 14" chop saw.

Built an axle rack on the wall.

Built a little area to contain the extra gas tanks.

Put together a little cart to carry my Miller TIG around with some drawers to hold consumables etc. I also left a spot open to put a plasma cutter in there whenever it is that I get another one.

Nice shop!!
I've wondered about those rage saws.

Thanks! The rage 3 is pretty nice so far, even has a little laser to line up your cut. It comes with a blade to cut wood, metal, plastic and aluminum all in one. They sell blades specifically for metal that last longer when cutting metal than the blade that comes with it but you have to buy that separately. Besides that the only other downfall to the saw is that it is only a single bevel compound miter, not a double bevel compound miter. Unfortunately no one seems to make a double bevel compound miter saw to cut metal with, not that I've seen anyway.
