Let's skew a poll people

53.5% Yes
46.5% No

:D

Fuck you, you tree-hugging, hairy-armpit having, pinko-commie :gay: bastards that think your way is the only way!

:flipoff2:

Wtf?

I'v been offroading from the mountains to the coast for years and I've never met any of these "people". Where do they hide at?? I know if I ever ran into any of them(or over them for that matter) I would be out of breath and have a little less spit in my mouth!! GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!!!!!! :sniper:

Another fine example of people who don't even use the facilities getting a say-so in what you or I do with our spare time. Agreed, where there is no set-aside for off-roading, those who abuse the privilege should get active jail time and fines, but as for the tree-hugging choads who think because there's an activity they don't enjoy, no one should be able to enjoy it, they can collectively suck my ass on the courthouse square. Come to think of it, they'd probably like that, considering so many of the hockey-packer organizations are HQ'd in San Fransisco. Remember, the only green the Sierra Club is really interested in is your money.

I'm a member of the NC Beach Buggy Association, and the NCBBA is one of the organizations that got the inlet road reopened, so screw the gay bastards.

its close now -- 50.7 yes/49.3 no

Is that online poll really going to make a differance????
.02

Sure it does. How many times do you see that stuff on teevee? "Our (completely unscientific and statistically irrelevant) poll shows that 89.4% of Americans are in favor of banning old people. Here to comment on this (probably not) significant data is Jimmah Jomomma. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us today, Mr. Jomomma."

Yep - Unfortunately (or fortunately - depending on which side of an issue you reside) "perception is reality."

So hopefully in this case with enough votes in favor of recreational use in National Forrests, the "perception" will be that more people are in favor of it then against. And the "reality" will be that it at least stalls more closures.

The thing I dislike about the question - as with many polls - is the way the question is worded.

"Should off-road vehicles be allowed in all national parks?"

I am not sure I agree with all National Parks, there probably SHOULD be some exceptions, however I realize that the all thing ain't gonna happen, so I vote YES because the checks and ballances are against us in this situation, so all the voices FOR recreational off-road use that can be heard the better.

BTW - As of 8:52 AM 9/9/05 it is at

68.5 % Yes
31.5 % No

Keep up the good work.

Oh yeah. I am a member of OBBA, Cape Hatteras aAnglers Club, and NCBBA. If we do not fight tooth and nail for complete unfettered access one day there will be none. Look at NJ, Mass for prime examples of giving the econs and inch yet they take a mile.

%69.6 yes :)
%30.4 no
Yep Rich I think you just about covered it

Here was my post on PBB about it. Couldnt leave the hippie out

The BS at Hatteras is just that BS. To shut down the entire fawking beach for 3 chicks that will get gobbled up as soon as a seagull gets hungry is stupid. Hatteras is THE VERY EXTREME southern portion of the birds range.

All the fawking hippies that went into parks and rec. mgt. are now the dumbshit tree huggers wanting to shut it all down. Damn I hate hippies. Except madcowdungbettle. But the rest can fawkin burn.[/

Ok I feel better. This shit ruined a fishing trip for me

I vote yes and as of 12:30 this afternoon, it sits 70.6 Yes and 29.4 No.

Should off-road vehicles be allowed in all national parks?
Yes, Americans should be able to use national parks for recreational pastimes.
70.7% (including mine)
No, taking an off-road vehicle into a national park could cause significant environmental damage.
29.3%

I just voted and its up to 75 yes 25 no...not that this is going to matter much or anything. I think even if this was an official poll it wouldnt get any serias thought unless the "no" side of it was winning.

Strange how no matter what it is, you can always seem to find support for something that makes life LESS enjoyable, ain't it?
