So many things, others would probably have to drive it, to tell anything. I feel like you know about tongue weight, &-or adjusting the load. Your truck tires are probably LT s or 6 ply, but on my old truck with 4 plys, I used to Add are for towing & weight. Air bags? Never had them; know nothing about them.

Ya load e tires i feel like i had the load where it needs to be again it towed just like it should have everything worked perfect i just want to have the best setup i can as i am always in the mountains on bad roads in the dark

I did a lot of research on air bags and distribution hitches last year. While both can level the vehicle, they do it in different ways. Air bags push up so the weight on the rear tires doesn't change. A distribution hitch pulls up so it can actually take weight off of the rear tires and distribute it to the front tires, ie more pressure on your steering tires. I bought a CURT 17500 with integrated sway control. The trunnion bars have a ball and socket joint at the truck end. As the trailer turns or sways, the ball comes out of the socket and wants to go back in so it tries to force the trailer to straighten. Fully loaded I'm around 14000 lbs including a 1500 lb camper in the bed of the truck. I've towed it across country and its a very stable setup.

For my setup, I felt like the distribution hitch was more advantageous than air bags, plus it also makes me legal. Most hitches state they are only rated to 5000 lbs unless a distribution hitch is used. The hitch was around $350 on amazon.

Thanks thats what i was looking for just dont want to buy the wroung one
