Does anyone have any idea of a good leveling kit for my 07 silverado I want to level it with the back. It is a z71. And with that leveling kit what is the max I can go on tires?

I ran 285/70/17 on mine. I cranked the torsion keys to level the front end. Ran it that way for over 60K miless with no problems.

Go to fullsizechevy.com tons of pics and threads on max tire size and turning torsion keys.

if its the newer style 07, u gotta buy the spacers. no more torsion bars on the new ones.
they arent bad to put on either, just did 4 of em recently

Not to take away from NC4x4, but ask that question there. Lots of good people/info.

It and this one are my 2 favorite forums.

And I wouldn't buy spacers, buy springs.

Good forum for the GM trucks, but NO on the springs instead of spacers if it is an 07 NNBS.

If you have a 07 Classic, first try cranking the bars a bit and see if it gets you the height you want. Usually there is enough in the stock bars and keys to get leveled, but not much more. If not then go on that GM Fullsize forum, and search for "Ford Keys", a much cheaper alternative to expensive "leveling kits" that are nothing more than reproductions of Ford keys.

If you have a 07 NNBS (new style) then you will need spacers for the front struts. I have heard lots of good things about the CCM spacers available on ebay for pretty cheap, but really they are all pretty similar. The 07s use coilover struts instead of torsion bars, and you can't simply put taller coils on the struts. It would stiffen the ride up alot, and overextend the strut. Rather spacers are used either on top or below the strut for lift. They are simple to install, but some require cutting the stock studs on the top of the strut, which make going back to stock difficult.

I am guess when hee says longer springs he is meaning longer springs and struts....

If you put a .625 inch spacer in the bolts under the struts it will raise the front of the truck 1.900.This will make the truck level I have already done it the ride is stock. Or you can buy the kit from JC Whitney for $60.00.
