Well I just ordered shocks for my 3.5 r e lift hopefully I will get them by friday. I sprayed wd40 on everything so maybe the bolts wil let loose. I took measurements at all 4 corners ta bumper bottom all at 18 in but the r/r measures at 17 huh never noticed that. Oh well that will be fixed soon. will try and post some pics thanks Tom:bounce2:

Best of luck with the install man. I don't know if you have one or not but i think you'll definitely need a coil spring compressor. I just barely got away without one with that 2 inch spacer kit i put on my wrangler.

He didn't really mention that he's changing coils, just he ordered shocks. Either way, you don't need coil compressors. While the shocks are off, take out either the upper trackbar bolt or the lower and you'll have all the droop you need to change coils without compressors.

Typical of coil sprung jeeps. The rotational torque of the drivetrain compresses the right side springs of the jeep. Over time, the right rear fatigues and sags lower than the rest.

Hey thanks for the replies I will definately take off the track bar bolts. the kit does have higher lift coils. just hit the bolts with more wd-40

The coils will be taller. Instead of WD-40, switch to PB Blaster. It's a much better penetrating oil.

did most of my lift install today only broke 1 upper rear shock bolt not bad I guess just have to put the track bars in tomorrow and knock out that 1 broken shock nut son in law is going to help with track bars can't quite line it up and install the bolt at the same timesorry no pics got dark quick I'll get some tomorrow Tom:lol:
