whats the easiest and cheapest way to get at least a 3in lift help please im ready for a lift. and what size and kind of shocks.i got a 96 jeep cheeroke 2 door sport 4x4.

Use a Mitsubishi lowering kit from an eclipse on the front reverse engineering it to add up to 5". U will have to cut the trac bar and sleeve it to extend it. The back can b done with lift blocks. The last one grandlift and I did cost less than 30 bucks and worked great!

lift blocks are cheap and easy in the beginning, but expensive once the springs wrap and spit out, causing more carnage. A better cheap alternative is to build a bastard leaf pack. I added one main XJ leaf to the XJ pack and it has worked out well. The you can add 2" spacers up front, then not have to mess with the TB or control arms. You can get away with stock shocks, especially if yu dont care about droop.
What is your goal?...what tire size do you have or want to run? The bigger you go, the more you have to change, and that gets farther and farther from cheap.

i have a set of 2.5-3" shackles i'll give you. i removed them for stronger ones.

for the front i'd go with v8 zj coils and an extra isolator.
you can move you trac bar by drilling a new hole about 1 in over.

Just put on a Rough Country 3 inch lift. You get Coils, AddaLeafs and shocks. Should be around 300 and all you need. I did this before and ran 31s. you could prob pull off 33s with a lil bit of trimming and have a low center of gravity

Ive got a 98 cherokee that i want to put 33s on. I was thinking of useing the 3 inch lift from rough country and a 2 inch spacer. But im new to jeeps and want it done right cause is also goin to be a dd. What about the pittman arm and the longer arms and the tb bracket. Does the 3in lift come with the pittman arm and the tb bracket. Also would lifted coils from a ranger work on it.

From what I've read/experienced, you don't need drop pitman arms till 6 inches or so. I don't have one on mine at 3.5" any my buddy doesn't on his at 5" The 3in should come with the bracket and if it doesn't I have one I could sell you. Lift coils from a ranger would work but they would be pretty stiff

thats what it said for by buddys 4"lift on his zj, when it came to the steering it just wouldnt reach. i had to use my extreme drop pitman arm for it to fit. i think it was a 7"drop.... worked like a charm. everythign lined up great
