I have a 04 LJ with 4.0, wanting to know what would be the best way to stroke it? Would I be better off building the motor I have or ordering a new 4.7 stroker long block?

its always easier to just buy the one off the crate if you have the money. but if you know your shit...buildin one shouldnt be too bad

It will be cheaper to build the one you have and easier to order one. In the end, you can buy the same parts, so it just depends on whether you have more time and experience, or money.
