have a hobart 140 i'm thinking bout trading for a pro mig 180. i know the step from 110 to 220V is good. are these good welders?? i'm getting into heavier stuff and need the added juice.

I've got one and like it. Would have preferred the HH187 based on reviews I've found online, but the Lincoln 180 is a good unit for the price.

My dad has this welder and rarely uses it, but has been very happy with it when he does use it.

I have one. I use it a ton. I love it. Keep in mind it's not a 100% duty cycle production machine. But I have yet to have this one trip on me like my 110v

Years ago someone told me if I got a welder to get a Lincoln or Miller. I have had a Lincoln pro mig 175 for about 6 years or so. I have no regrets. Great welder for the price.

I went to a welding shop that carried both lincoln and miller. The miller was more expensive (and they guy got a better commission) yet he still recommended lincoln. I went home with a 180c and love it. Unless miller has changed their wire feed system, lincoln has a superior feed system and it has less issues in that area.
