I have seen in mags and on the internet that people are running the F911 bolts for link bolts. What are they and are they a must have or will a grade8 work just fine.
Most guys run grade 8 bolts. I had trouble with one of the bolts in a wishbone three link (since then I redesigned the suspension) and replacing it with a F911 bolt stopped the problem.
Now I have the more standard triangulated 4 link front and rear and grade 8 bolts are holding up well.
I wound up with some when Wilder's ran out of grade 8's, they're nice and all, but aren't normally necessary. It takes quite a bit of force to break a grade 8 when it's tight.
Do get the all-metal "Class C" (i think they're called) locknuts so they stay tight...
Mine are "only" 9/16", and haven't had an issue in the year since I've finished the build.
If you use these I have been getting them from www.hillcofasteners.com out of California (714-657-7442). They always have every size in stock plus oddball grade 8 lengths and sizes.
