Liquid tire balance problems

Bought a set of 33x12.50 BFG a/t's and a set of 15x8 soft 8's (both new) and the shop that mounted them used about a half bottle each of the liquid balancer that they use in OTR truck tires. This thing rides like its got a brick strapped to each tire. I'm not familiar witht he stuff, but it looked to be in about a quart bottle, not sure if it has too much, not enough, or if I need to break them down and start over. Anybody familiar with the stuff?

In my 35s, I run 8-10 ounces of air soft beads. Seems like a quart would be a little much for a 33 IMO.

One pint in a 37x13 bogger on steel beadlocks works like a champ! Never used that much before. What is the thickness, water or malasses?

Tire Balance

Former Co. used "Tire Smart" in rears on dump trucks. 1 bag per tire [pint-I think]. This is mainly a sealer; glue-kevelar-antifreeze.
Tire dealers say it helps balance also. Never had a problem. Sounds like U got too much. Had a new Cherokee once, that one tire would'nt balance. Dealer broke tire down, found about 16oz of water in tire!:poop:

I cant recall the size of the bottles, but it is the antifreeze type not the pancake batter type. Looks like I'll be busting one side down and reducing the amount of liquid a bit, unless I can figure out a way to remove it through the valve stem.

Glad the airsoft bb's in my 39s worked well on the first try. I'm not a fan of breaking a set of tires and wheels apart after a thousand miles, but this shake has gotta go...

clean it out and start over. use the magnum plus bags, thats what we use at our tire shop when necessary, but 33 at's should balance fine with normal balance weights.

I'm really considering just going back to lead on these. Never had a BFG ride this bad. I know the powders and beads work, but I belive this will be my last run with liquid.

bfg should balance out just fine; especially with new wheels. Personally I prefer the lead for tires up to about 35" unless they are bias ply.
