Yep my little bro got him a project xj with the 4.0 and automatic, and since he's only 14 we had to do a budget build nothin too fancy that he could fund from a small part time summer job. Here's a mod list and some pics of us flexin it out at Work a few weeks back

-Dana 30/35 with 4.10's and rear limited slip
-My old 35x12.5 mt's w/ bout 1/2 tread left from my Z71 on some 15x9's
-Rustys Tie Rod Conv Steering setup
-Rustys Motor Mounts
-Tcase drop
-Front 3" Rancho lift w/ 2" coil spacers
-Rear 3" Rancho add a leaf, 2" shackles, and 2" blocks,
-also cut off the exhaust and pulled the front fenders for clearance
-Also bought all the steel we need for me to make him a front bumper and Rocksliders just gotta find a weekend I can go back and work on it since im back up at State now

Used it and the white one to make one good one, the white one needed some stuff so we just took what we needed off the red one. Still got it not sure what were gonna do with it thou, probably will finish taking off anything that is worth anything or could be a backup part for the white one then junk the rest.

yea the 4.0 is going to be way better than the 2.8 carb

Yea man, good thing about the 2.8 thou is that it had 4.10 gears

I think you're in trouble when your tire size exceeds the model of your dana axle.

Thats why we got an extra set of axles for when the dana 35 breaks

You gonna cut the front fenders and put them back on? Looks kinda well, odd ball (to be nice) without 'em.

Nah aint no need for fenders, and it clears all the room you need for bigger tires, looks are fer loosers lol, nah not gonna put em back on, honestly other than poeple who are worried about looks I don't see why more people don't just take there fenders off, makes it alot easier and if your really worried bout looks you don't have to worry bout messin up your fenders offroad and can put em back on real easy later.

Trails? What are these trail things you speak of? Only thing i've heard that your supposed to do with a 4wd vehicle is hook it up then take poser pics of it

If you have one at your disposal, it is not a bad idea to cycle the suspension to see what you are working with esp if its a new setup or new vechicle
