WNC custom jeeps, around Asheville.

i'm not really lookin to get anything done, just tryin to find some places to send resumes to that i already havent thought of. I was hoping someone would have heard of a few places that i didnt know about yet. thank you for the help though i was pretty interested in both the rock shop and wnccj! if you know of any more keep them coming, the more the better. thanks guys.

Don't ya mean the "edge" of Polk County? Sorry, local joke.

It might help if you posted exactly what your experience is. What have you trained in? Schools? hands on? degree? Salary expected and so on. Willing to relocate?

There might be some guys interested in what you have to offer.

I got just the place for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a BAD A$$ shop right near the Tellico Trails and its called "Smokey Mountain Offroad " It is 1 hell of an amazing 4x4 shop. 10 mins from trail 1. It has some AMAZING rigs there both inside that they are working on and outside flexed out on their rock pile and in the parking lot. They are the real deal for NC. I went there this weekend while I went up to tellico to watch people play on lower 2 and stuff. Give them a call or stop in and see them. They are very nice guys. They do AMAZING work and have TONS of goodies in their HUGE showroom. :) ;) :D

Its right up the street from downtown Murphy and where the road spilts at that red gas station. You can't miss the BUGGY on Prorock 60's and 39.5 inch Krawlers and the TJ on prorocks and 39.5 inch Krawlers flexed out on the gigantic rock pile.:driver:

Theres a shop in mooresville called Hicks Performance i believe.

thanks a lot for the help guys i'll look into all of those.
upnover- a few years of mechanical engineering then three years of auto body training and then i went to school for street rod and custom fabrication and chassis fab and high po engines. I know it sounds like a lot of school and no hands on but ive just takin a while to figure it all out and i have always been doin my own stuff on the side, lots of frames and restorations and currently a 90 yj w/ double triangulated four link quarter elliptical. I just love to build and i'm gettin ready to get married so i need to find something soon to pay the bills! but thanks a lot ya'll have been a real big help.

If you want to make money, I'd stay away from jeeps and such. Most owners want it the "cheap way" or do their own work. It is still a relativley small market, with plenty of people offering their services already. Might want to stick with the custom cars. There are WAY more hot rods, bikes, and race cars with owners who are not scared to spend money than 4x4's.

+1 unless, your BIGWOODY :flipoff2:

money isn't always everything sometime you just enjoy one more than the other. but no doubt that i will still do rod chassis on the side. plus my fiance is a mechanical engineer:lol: $
