Local slim Jim plant explosion??

Need a little excitement? Snap into a Slim Jim! Ooooh yeah!

Too early?

This doesn't suprise me, hell I eat a couple of those & my ass explodes.

What the world is all that ammonia used for? Hope it's not in the slim jims.
I was gonna blame it on Sasquach...but thats Jack links:lol:

I turned down a maintenance job there on the day my son Jonah was taken to Duke for his heart. The position was in packaging where the explosion hit. Wow......Jonah's heart condition stopped me from being there this morning.

Just goes to show you, Everything happens for a reason. When he gets older, you can tell him all about how he saved your life!

So what you're saying is it's Jonah's fault the place exploded? If they offered you the job, and you turned it down, then it obviously went to somebody less qualified, and that may have been the jack-leg that caused the whole mess! :flipoff2:

I was nowhere near the place. I don't even like Slim Jims!

In all seriousness, though, this has reached the national level. I found this on Google's front page this evening. CNN Article. There's still people missing, according to the article, and some critically injured. And you know there's got to be some firemen feeling pretty bad from the ammonia fumes. Let's keep these guys in our prayers.

Actually, that's where I came across the original link, originally CNN had a link to WRAL... I recognized the call letters as the Raleigh stationand thought, oh $hit that's "home" and opened it.

That is funny, I too just about spit my bottle of water on the screen:lol:

I was riding WEMS today and was the 4-5 truck there and transported 1+2 sets of people. Defently something that will stay with me for a while and an interesting day.

WC went to hell in a hand basket today. This plus the train vs. car

Made the news here as well..

My wife's uncle just finished installing an industrial sized water heater there. He worked there a couple of weeks but I think some of his co workers were doing final touches when this happened and are hurt. Haven't got to talk to him yet but it was probably something he did that caused it. Just joking I don't know that for sure.
