Local source for Cable raceways?

Got tired of my surround sound not having the rear speakers, so I want to run them finally...

Turns out finding cable raceways is harder than I thought. I need some that attach to walls/ceilings...

Whats some local sources for this stuff? Checked Lowes hardware, they had some but too expensive and far too wide for what I need...any ideas?

I believe what you want is commonly referred to "wire mold". Available from most electric supply houses (Graybar comes to mind) in a couple colors.

Not necessarily "local"...

Grainger has it called "raceway duct" (1pc. hinged) and "raceway, base & cover" (2 separate pcs).

do you own/rent? If you rent, just run it along the baseboard or pull the edge of the carpet up and tuck it under the edges.

Rent.

Problem is that I need to get the wires across a hall, and on the other side, entirely across a room. No way to get it under the carpet without tearing it all up...

duct tape it across the floor. problem solved. at least thats what me and my roommate did to run cable to my room

I suppose, but I just dont want to mess with all that crap.

you be shocked how easy it might be...

hit up an alarm guy he will have any tools you may need....Id be glad to help if closer

if you have attic access or basement its really not that hard to get the wires where you want them. But the wire mould will work.

it wouldn't be any harder than running that cover all the way up the wall, across the ceiling, and back down. And will look alot better.

Or - the $$ you'd spend on all that moulding, pay a local carpet guy to slice the carpet, you run the wire, and he re-seams it. 15 minute job...
