lock right question

Has anyone installed a lock right on a toyota and had to get thicker thrust washers? Put one in an 86 toy and it is ratcheting when going straight. We think the gap in the middle of the locker is to much. It's close to an 1/8".
 
Make sure the tires are the same air pressure also worn about to the same diameter mine does that when I have the spare in place.
 
4cyl diff or v6?
 
When I talked to the mfg about a similar problem with a Jeep they said a new carrier is required since the washers only come in one thickness.
 
we tried thicker washers and still no luck. We came to the conclusion that the locker was bad....teeth were worn. It was a used locker. Didn't think it was that bad but evidently it was.
