lock rite question

does this lock rite look like its worn where the cross shaft goes or are they suposed to look like that? I'm looking at it for my buddy to put in his TJ.

Make sure theres no burs on it and throw it in

It is supposed to look a little bit oval shaped where the cross shaft goes thru. This is how the locker works. The oval shape allows the cross pin to put pressure out on the teeth of the locker causing it to engage. That is the best explaination I can come up with. I think that is what you are refering to by worn. I hope that is what you are refering to by worn.
