locker

I have a big problem, need to know something about a locker. It has multiple disc with many teeth, one plate is smooth and the next one has more teeth and so forth. I have never had a locker so I dont know any thing about them, if any one can give me an idea of what I am dealing with please do not hesitate to let me know.

Sounds maybe like a LSD (Limited Slip Diff), like before pics would help

X2. Looks like you are looking at the clutch packs in a limited slip.

What are you trying to accomplish? are you installing a luchbox locker? or is your current locker broken/disassembled and you're trying to fix it? What kind of locker?

I broke an axle shaft and the splines turned in the left spider gear. Not a problem got that out the problem is i need new spiders gears with teeth on the outside of the spider gear. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have a limited slip differential not a locker.

Also full details, is this in your 98 grand? front axle? Rear axle? etc etc?

And if at all possible, a picture is worth a thousand words. Also could help people see if there is any other damage you're possibly not noticing inside the differential.
