I'm about to start installing the lockright in my dodge dana 44 front. I've heard I have to take the carrier out... but I don't have a case spreader nor can I rent one locally. Surely someone has done this without a case spreader...any tips would be appreciated on any or all of the lockright install process.

Thanks
Dave

take 2 pry bars one at the, top one at the bottom position them on the ring gear bolts, and the housing , respectively, keep track of which side the races came from, to install carrier a big deadblow works well to the ring gear, try not to hit the teeth. If its a factory set-up its probably not in there tight anyway and you can get it in and out just by pushing and pulling.
