Locust, NC cops using unmarked Mustang

As the title says, I went to Uwharrie two weekends ago via 24/27 from Charlotte. I saw the Locust cops writing tickets from a silver unmarked mustang both times I passed through town.

on the same note, shp in the Wallace area have an unmarked blk mustang gt, newer body style. saw the guy writing tickets in it coming down i-40 a few weeks back.

Heh, I grew up in Locust and let me tell you, it is a speed trap from hell. Don't ever think that because you pass one cop in that small town that you're in the clear, there is usually more than one patrolling all the time.

Very true....I grew up just across Rocky River in Union County and locust has always been a speed trap.

Not sure about the sheriffs, but yes, the Highway Patrol has chargers....

Pysically impossible to speed in my heep without loosing a filling. So I'm covered.

I have seen that. It is Bright Blue with Tinted windows, and if i remember right it has gold rims on it.

Caldwell County Sheriffs have a mustang or two as well. Seen him on Baton School and 321 a number of times.

Nah, I suspect every Charger to be a cop until proven otherwise. Same with Crown Vics and Camaros. But theres some mess bein used now youd never think of.
