Long leaf or short leaf?

Ok so I went and bought some cheapo helper springs from auto zone(complete waste of money and time) to help my weak spring problem. So now im gonna go ahead and get an add a leaf but I'm not sure which one to get, long leafs or short leafs. What is difference besides length?

Short leafs do the same job, but because its a shorter leaf, it rides harsher. Long AAL's ride and flex better.

thanks for the help. I guess I will be getting a set of long leafs then. Any suggestions on a good place to get a set for a good price?
