Hey guys, a friend of mine recently had a set of lightly used 31" Goodyear MTR's on silver 5 spoke steel jeep wheels and a tan YJ hardtop stolen from his backyard while he was on vacation as well as a bunch of Renix Cherokee parts. Just letting you guys know to keep an eye out for some shady characters with newly acquired gear around the Fuquay/Raleigh area and to make sure you keep your stuff locked up. Let me know if you have any details.

Vacation.... sounds like he has some nice neighbors..
1) File a police report. 2) I'd be going door to door and informing my neighbors that i did in fact file a police report and that there will be an investigation (even if only by you)

Big thing to remember out of site out of mind... Even if you can't lock up every last item.. At least hide it or cover it..

Still sucks..

What kind of sick person would steal Renix XJ parts? Sorry to hear about it and I will keep my eyes and ears open. Which jeep wheels were they?

Wonder why anyone would steal those when you can get a set of 4 for like $50 all day long? I would check craigslist and ebay over the next couple of weeks to see if anything suspicious pops up.

Nah, they had 31" MT/R's mounted on them, whiteletters out and only had a few thousand miles on them which is why it sucked that they were stolen. They were actually my tires and wheels, he was waiting for me to get back from Boone to put them on my Jeep, which is why I'm involved. Just keep an eye out, I've been checking craigslist and ebay, but haven't seen anything so far.
