Im looking for a VW Bus locally (Hickory)

Im hoping for a 1970-79 Westy, but anything will work..

If anyone knows anything or has seen one for sale locally, please let me know! The cheaper the better! :lol:

You should email or PM "TeamSpatula"... he's big van/Westy head. Probably knows where 20 are sitting just waiting on you purchase!
 
Check craglist for the chapelhill area, those damn hippys are bound to have a 1/2 dozen or so of 'em laying around.

yea ive been talking to him. Havent asked him specifically if he knows anthing though, i should...

Not to hijack but I got a funny story about someone living by the river. When I used to live in Dallas, TX this bum was living under an overpass by the river. He ran extension cords down under the overpass and was using this company's power for his little heater and I guess a few other things. I thought it was great.

I just saw this ad on a local newsgroup. Go to outlook and subscribe to triangle.forsale. The ad was there. I don't know the guy nor do I have his contact information. I just saw the ad there. Sounds like a good deal!

1970 Volkswagen Bus for sale
Needs a clutch and some brake work
Motor and body are in good shape
$300 obo
Would like to get rid of it this weekend

I'm not 100% sure exactly how to set it up but you go to Outlook/Tools/accounts and you set up your newsgroup account. You have to have some info about your provider.
