Something dependable for my wife, 4x4 preferable. $10-15k. What have you guys had that you enjoyed? We have one daughter so will need a little room.
 
I’ve got a Honda Pilot with almost 300,000 on it. Super reliable. It’s Honda’s version of 4wd, so take that as you will. Other than normal maintenance, I’ve replaced a harmonic balancer, window motor, and a tire pressure sensor. It’s got third row as well.
 
I like our 98 Grand Cherokee. Buy one for 3-4k that's been gone through and save the difference! I've got one if you interested(and I'm not even wanting 3k) Wife's DD, we're looking to go bigger like a Tahoe or Durango with third row.
 
Suburban or Caddi Escalade. Bulletproof cars that still get reasonable fuel economy.

And with either one you will have the bonus of a backup tow rig. :D
 
Do you want a tiny crossover or a suburban?

Huge range in the SUV market.

I’d second Toyota. However, our grand Cherokee has been good to us.
