Salisbury Area - Looking for my Dad's 1979 CJ5 Golden Eagle

Anyone in Salisbury? I'm in search of my dad's old Jeep. It was in the family since new until my grandparents sold it in the early 1990's I believe. The latest information I've received from the family was they sold it to a local guy who may have wrecked it but was still in decent shape and he had it for sale at one time. It's probably fairly rough looking I would imagine. I'll post some pics, I just need to drag them out of the old photo album. Thanks to anyone who may be in that area.
Here's the specs:
1979 Jeep CJ5 GOLDEN EAGLE
Black exterior and brown or tan interior with the button seats I believe
304 V8
3 speed transmission
Was all pretty much original looking.

You need to find the VIN and see if DMV can tell you who the last known owner was.

Don't know if they'll even do that, but it's a good start if they can.

Yea, I'm working on that. I just know when I'm back in Salisbury it seems like everyone knows everyone. So I thought if I could find someone who lives there they might have seen it. Thanks for the reply!
