Looking for outside wedding locations in the southern NC mountains

We have looked at Pretty place. Have looked at the falls in Dupont . What are we missing out on.
Would prefer not to spend big cheddar. I have to be missing out on some magical spot with a view that will hold 30 guest.

Lake Lure, The hotel there has things like this going on. A friend's son had his wedding there. Don't know bout price but the grandmother said it was nice. I grew up bout 20 miles east of there. The area is top notch. Chimney Rock Park is next door.

We got married at the George Vanderbilt lodge overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is at the Mt Pisgah parking lot about 1 minute walk up the trail. The Pisgah Inn is a mile away.

Laurel Ridge Camp and Conference Center in Laurel Springs can be very nice for a wedding. Convenient, lots of lodging, pretty affordable, and lots of great views and hiking. I'd be happy to take you up there and show you around sometime.

I think there is a house you can rent too on the property. Oskar blues brewery is also only 10 min away.

x2 on Lake Lure. We rented the gazebo out on the lake for 150 for the whole day then we had our reception at the inn and spa. I think we had 2500 in it total with chair rentals and all....
