Looking for someone that rebuilds starters

Do people even still do that??? Box store starters seem to be hit or miss out of the box. Not pulling much from the Google box.

Carolina Auto Electric in Charlotte off Harvey Street. They are a bit "old school", but great guys who know their stuff when it comes to starters/motors/alternators. I've had them rebuild a few things for me, and had them refuse to rebuild a couple because there was no need and they didn't wanna waste my money.

There's a guy working out of his shop behind his house just south of you in Mount Pleasant. Jerry - does starters and alternators - 704-425-2449. Does good job and very knowledgeable. While I was there picking up my rebuilt starter, there must been a half dozen others dropping off starters and alts - shops and individuals....if that says anything.
